A simple and easy DIY project re-purposing old reed diffusers. How many of you are like me and have a few empty reed diffusers around your home? I have a few old ones that have just been sitting for quite some time without anything in them. I have bought a couple in the past and then have never done anything with them once the water evaporated from them.

Whether you are looking to recycle your old containers or looking to make one with new materials, you will love this DIY reed diffuser project! They are great to have at home, in the office, at school, or anywhere you want to experience the aroma and benefits of essential oils.

Get creative and customize your own reed diffuser . You can embellish your containers with items that fit your personality.

What You Need:

1 reed diffuser container or small glass vase
1/4 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
15 drops of your favorite essential oil
reed diffuser sticks

Note: You can find reed diffuser containers or small vases at any local craft store or on Amazon.

Directions:

Pour the fractionated coconut oil into your diffuser container, add essential oil(s) and reed diffuser sticks.

Note: It might take a couple days for the oils to reach the top of the reed sticks. You can flip the sticks every few days or so for a stronger aroma.

Have you made your own reed diffuser before? Leave me a comment and share what essential oils you like to use for yours?

Enjoy!
